I really started getting into music at a very young age. I remember sitting in front of the record player just listening to my favorite artists and admiring the way they were able to spin a story with their voices. People like Charlie Wilson, Madonna, Patsy Cline, Fred Hammond, Boys II Men and John P. Kee. At the age of 18 I went to a party and was asked to watch the CD player and make sure the music kept playing. As I experimented with song choices, I saw the reaction from the people at the party and became very intrigued. I saw how music can make people excited, happy, sad, loving and every other emotion that we experience. That day, I purchased my own equipment and began a career as a DJ.

I was a DJ for several years but knew I wanted to do more. I began managing several artists and groups which included Mae Newton, 1-ness, Truly Committed, Monique Jackson and others. For several years, I managed different artists, but knew I wanted to actually make music and write my own songs. In 2001 I started my own Label and Production Company. I have produced such artists as "Blake Chambers" AKA Soldier, "Teresa Harding" and have put together a compilation CD called "Higher Ground" made up of different artists from around the country.

As you can see, I am a self-made professional who is not afraid of hard work and know how to be diligent and progressive. I understand the needs of artists and what it takes to make them successful. The first thing is having a talent and having a great demo.
